    He is a better defender and a far better player both under McCall and Grayson everything is played through Doyle to McMahon and a diagonal ball into Clarke last year and Wyke this. Do you remember Darby’s clearances straight into touch

    McMahon is NO different to any gob shite ! He plays average to barely good, but also gets in peoples heads, that is not a good combo at City. Or any other Club.
    City play well and consistent when they have a midfield DRIVER, such as McCall, etc.

    McMahon is better on the ball and as an attack minded fullback but Darby is the better defender.

    When he arrived at the Club, then yes, but since then, has over stepped the mark, IMO. OLD PLAYER, Billy Big Balls , limited ability, doesn't cut it with me.

    So we signed a player as part of a small squad knowing he would be playing with injuries and there was a big risk he could break down or not be available for parts of a season with a league and three cups to compete in - why?

    Personally, I prefer McMahon but there is no denying Darby is the better defender.
