I've got (and believe it or not actually read) three books on Cloughie, but frankly can't be arsed going into my study to find them.

 

I'd go for this. Would like to see Seedorf start, and Doyle being allowed to roam around the final third. MC says he wants Payne to score more, so let him get into central positions with the whole goal to aim for. Last week our wingers were playing very high up, so it's not like we're playing just one up front, even though Doyle is there on his own. Miller puts the leg work in, so if Seedorf is getting knackered, he can come on for him, and we can play three in the middle with Miller moving up top (if we're not already winning).

I think you'll probably be right. Can see no reason he'll do anything different. Unless he plays Miller instead of Seedorf.

Sorry mate, you know I respect your views, but the above is just crap. Brunkner played more than 1min last season didn’t he? In fact he played 407mins and never, ever looked like scoring. I didn’t see him hold the ball up or really give defenders anything to really worry about.

Yes, he applied himself and his effort has to be applauded but he showed NOTHING in any game to suggest he deserves a chance in L1.

Now that isn’t utter ball-axe mate.

 

Surely the onus is on us to break down the opposition at home, not focus on how to stop them? Of course we have to look at their threats and try to counter against, but not at the risk of stopping us play our own game.

4-4-2 for me and Riley the one to make way. In fact, start with the same XI as we had on Tuesday, but instead of bringing Gibson on, we will have Seedorf available.

Lack of credible options leaves us little choice. Brünker isn’t good enough, Jones and Reeves aren’t fit and I don’t think we’ve anyone better than Chicksen, so can’t change much even if we wanted to.

In no way do I believe Kai Brunker to be worthy of a 'shirt'.
However ........... You know when you get an annoying bit of grit in your shoe ?

And that is the very reason I would have liked to have played him the last 15 minutes against Burton - Just to be a pain in the arse, for them

 

You don't get minutes at League One standard for being a slight pest.
