Wright to boo?

I cannot remember who the poster was, but someone said wright was edin's snitch(it was someones idea to make him captain) and when Hopkin took over wright couldn't even make the bench during his reign.

Hoppy must have taken an instant dislike to him,very strange as our bench was always lacking decent players.
Frozen out for a reason?- apart from the fact he was poor on the pitch(this applies to most of the squad)

 

I find it surprising that some fans think Wright is so much worse than anyone else. He’s a poor player but 2/3 of the team are poor, hence why we’re all but relegated.

Can’t understand why he is being singled out by certain fans. If we were to boo all the poor performers in the squad we’d be booing nearly everyone.

 

I was there on Saturday and I think most of the boos were aimed at Anderson who came off, there were quite a few who cheered Wright on and in all fairness he did more in those few minutes than Anderson has done in the last 4 games.

Both are utter shite though and based on their performances they deserve every bit of grief they get.

In fairness that's not an excuse for his terrible coverage of games. I'm a big City fan but I wouldn't make out we were playing like Barcelona every week and that all our losses or goals conceded are because the referee made bad decisions.

Not at all during my time on the OMB & C&B and now BT I have been known to make the odd negative comment with regards our club, possible because I made very few until these two clowns took over you might have missed them

 

I really don’t like booing our players. It is not their fault that Rahic brought them to the club, they are trying their best, yes I know their best will not save us from relegation. Do we as a fan’s resort to mob mentality? Or do we continue to support all the players. Last week Wright received jeers and boo’s before he even kicked a ball. He most certainly not one of my favourite players, but if Bowyer wants to play him we should respect his decision and also the player.

Continuing to boo players will not get them playing to their best, it might make the fans feel better. However, I know what will make me feel better, and that is 11 players playing as a team to the best of their ability.

Very true I remember the situation with regards coverage when Mark was a co-chairman, heard him defending the club not getting a reasonable deal from Radio Leed, as he was in touch with Ken Bates and knew what Radio Leeds were offering Leeds United, it got a little embarrassing at times disagreeing with Derm Tanner.
