Time to realise you cannot just expect to rock up & buy the league. You need a certain class to do that, and Wrexham don't have it. 2 wins & a draw against your lot this season, I honestly have no idea what all the hype is about

I'd say our approach was cynical. I've seen many teams do it against us.

 

Agree with a lot of that Wxm80, but from my point of view, Mullin dived (as he does) and was looking for the penalty - should have been booked without a doubt. Canon was it who blatently elbowed Richards in the face just before half time which resulted in a bloody, bent nose and closed left eye, should have had a straight red, again no doubt about that. The foul on Cook for the penalty - another red surely.
I thought Wrexham played some good stuff and always looked dangerous but without troubling our defence and the superb Sam Walker.
We all have a biased view of our teams and the opposition, but come on - you lost and we won - accept it and move on as we have had to do many times!!

 

A point away is creditable and if followed by home wins , then great.
Its the awfull home form , 4 wins this season so far and only about 30 in total over the past 4 years, is why we are where we are.
These players can not raise their game in front of the big crowd, just like many before them, whereas players at other clubs see playing at VP as something to savour and raise their game, not freeze.

 

Lee just kicked the ball away and didn't get booked. No consistency from referees is very annoying

 

Happy to be 0-0 but I'm fecking sick of this. Why can't we do the basics. Pass a ball 10 yds to feet instead of ballooning it up in the air. On the rare occasion we get a ball to feet we can't control it. It's fecking amateur

Thought he was very solid, commanded his box well, came out when needed to collect the ball, made some good saves.
A lot more confident with him in goal compared to this seasons Lewis honestly

 

Just been reading the Wrexham forum and I am so confused how almost every poster seems to think the referee was poor and gave us everything… The referee was so pro-Wrexham the whole game. Even the penalty that we missed should have had a red card for Hayden that never came… deluded bunch

 

Aye, I believe we are unbeaten in Europe this season......

 

The BBC commentary on the radio was brilliant today. Really captured both the despair of the penalty save followed by the excitement / relief of the goal. Well done Jamie Rayner.
