I don't think they need to add a lot to finish top this season.
The Keeper Lainton got injured with about 10 games left which probably cost them.
By bringing in Howard as GK and upgrading in a couple of areas (Tunnicliffe for French), they probably think they have enough.
They are 6/4 to win the league, so the bookies think they are by far the most likely winner.

If Parky is so poor, where will Wrexham finish next season? -
-
Stockport definitely haven't stopped and I very much doubt Wrexham will.
Both want to be in the Championship ASAP.
If Parky is so poor, tell me where Wrexham will finish? -
It was always doubtful both Stockport & Wrexham would get promoted.
Anything can happen in the play-offs. Grimsby's run was amazing, with the late winners. -
So, will get by the rules by going for quality in the loan market.

Wrexham owners happy to put the money in.
The rule becomes irrelevant then? -

certain managers operate better with a limited budget, so they use whatever resources they do have available accordingly. With bigger budgets an thus, higher expectations, they tend to struggle an end up blowing a lot of that money away. Parky is a good example of such a manager

Calling it a failure is a bit much, the totally they had would have won them the title comfortably in 4 of the previous 5 seasons from memory. It's just the two teams that spent ridiculously had a contest and one had better consistency.
Like someone said, Wrexham dropped points to teams they shouldn't ever had like Dover etc. For every player of a Mullin or Palmer standard, they started French or Hossanah who looked poor on TV, their fans dont rate them too highly either. Looks like the aim this season is to have a proper squad, rather than 6 or 7 key men. In the article in the local paper after buying the stadium the other day, the journo said they have a few big deals in the works. -
Like Salford have found out, spending big in NL gets you up but when you have to live within the budget constraints imposed by the EFL, it's not that straight forward.
That said, Stockport and Grimsby will be in the mix come the end of the season.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

Where will Wrexham finish this season then if they are boring and easy to work out? -

It's got to be nearer the bottom than the top surely Rog? He's boring and he's easily worked out. -
