I’m no anti vaxer. Because of my job I have to take certain vaccines for travel, but I’m not taking one that’s been produced, tested and rolled out in the space of 8 months.

They have just phoned me for my appointment Saturday morning at Scarborough rugby club. So it’s a jab and three point day. Hopefully

would take it all day long as I'm already sick of living like this. the industry i work in has taken an absolute kicking and so has my back up job industry which is making my life incredibly difficult. Doing a music degree which has now become essentially pointless for what I planned to do with it.
If getting vaccinated means I can go back to living how I did before then sign me the feck upConnecticutBantam, shoatsy, Offcomedun and 1 other person like this. -

I'll probably be taking the vaccine but I certainlywouldn't judge anyone else for not wanting to. -
I'll take it.

They were happy enough to tell you though, and you do get a slip with type and batch number as Bronco showed.

Why would anyone take an untested and unregulated one?

As for the vaccine. I'm just under 60 and no health issues that I know of. Given that I've recently done a walk of 15 miles (non stop) I think I'm reasonably fit. I'm relatively low priority. Doubt I'll be offered any vaccine until summer. I'll take it. By that time I expect around 5 different vaccines will have been given to the population over 5 or 6 months.ConnecticutBantam and Bronco like this. -

As someone who worked in Pharma, and has a decent level of education in human biology, I would not touch an RNA vaccine.
I will be waiting for the Oxford vaccine should I feel the need to get the jab.RCarol and Campbell's soup like this. -
got two mates who've taken it as they work in care homes, they've had it about a week i think n theyve been posting updates on their fb of how they feel. Neither's died or turned into a lizard at the moment

Stafford elected to go with a single site for public vaccinations, using the huge County Showground/Bingley Hall site (once used for major music events, prior to the NEC and Manchester Arena, and still used for major exhibitions).
This has allowed Stafford to roll out the vaccine, in good numbers, from day 1 and the site is operating 7 days a week.
I know a couple of people in my village (priority group 2) who've had the Pfizer vaccine, one has already had their second dose, with the other due their second dose this week.
Being on Clinically Extremely Vulnerable list (priority group 4) I'm expecting my call later this month or February.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Skyebantam and Bronco like this. -
