Would you take the killer vaccine?

got two mates who've taken it as they work in care homes, they've had it about a week i think n theyve been posting updates on their fb of how they feel. Neither's died or turned into a lizard at the moment

 

Brought mum for her vaccine.

 

My dad is due his next week and my step dad had his last week.

 

Im hoping to have it in next week or two

pharmacy related. One of the places doing vaccinations have been told to make sure all appointments are taken by someone on the priority list so if there are spaces not taken by top priority then they drop down, and as they would be at short notice it opens chance

 

Both parents now vaccinated.

 

Got a call from my GP practice last Thursday to ask if me and my wife could attend an evening clinic that day for a jab
Too right, didn't ask why us, as we're only 66 years old and in no way vulnerable.
I have an idea why, but don't want to offend anyone so will keep my thoughts to myself.

 

Maybe interesting to some that more than 100 people have died worldwide shortly after having one of the vaccines. So no, I'm not going to be at the front of the queue, even if it does mean the control freaks say I can't get on a plane.

2 Friends have had what they think is very bad reactions to the Pfizer Vaccine requiring a doctor to be called out, Maybe coincidence but will not take this one myself, Fortunately my neighbors were jabbed over the weekend with the Astra one

 

100 people world wide we know the UK have vaccinated just short of 5 million, I'll take my chance on that ratio, both had ours yesterday and so far no problem, but I can understand people saying it's not been tested long enough and the problems that might go with that.

 

We had the AstraZeneca yesterday and we were given documents to read and a card with the details of out injection to be carried at all times.

 

My neighbour's both had theirs last week and they are both mid 60s, yet yesterday when we asked about our daughter who has kidney failure we were told she should get a call from the doctors later this coming week, I would have thought her underlying conditions were a priority ?.

 

We weren't advised which jab we were getting, I didn't ask which it would be, but I very much doubt you will have a choice.
They were happy enough to tell you though, and you do get a slip with type and batch number as Bronco showed.
No adverse reaction for us, no worse than a flu jab.

 

I wasn't aware of which vaccine we were getting until @trevor posted with regards the vaccine, that card says which vaccine we had, 20 minutes in, haste wait10 minutes after the jab as I drove to the practise.

 

The death rate you’ve quoted of dying from taking a vaccine, is considerably, by a long long way, lower than the death rate of coronavirus, even in younger people, plus the long term effects of covid in some people are starting to emerge.

I’ll 100% be getting the vaccine when offered.
