Paranoia it certainly wasn’t for weeks he has taken almighty stick and he makes a mild rebuke and a little joke and here we have people jumping on their high horses. I don’t know whether he is the right man forus or not but it would be good if we at least give him a chance to give it a try

Tiny minded it may be but it holds more knowledge/memories about Bradford City than your (obviously bigger mind) will ever do .

 

Not picking Killa isn't performance related, it can't be, at the moment based on the opening games of the season he'd walk into our back four.

I suspect it's because he's the last of the McCallites still around and Edin holds stupid petty grudges and won't put them aside for the good of the team.

OConnor and McGowan both played well on Tuesday Killa should be in the squad but those two are our best partnership at the moment

It really isn't. A good team plays well and wins, a lucky team plays bad and wins.

 

No I didn't, but I wasn't convinced by the performance either, and it's been the same performance for 4 games now.

You don't learn to win when you're not playing well, you get LUCKY. You learn to play well in order to win games. Not the other way round.

As for getting out of this league, not a chance this season. We're mid table fodder at best.

I agree. Not only did he protest too much against something he professes to take no notice of he tried to sell us the line that it's all about the players and not him. Yet he still manages to spend a large part of the interview taking credit, telling everyone he knows what he's doing and demanding respect. The guy talks in cliches which gives the impression that he learnt the talk but doesn't really know what it means in practice. I sincerely hope he's a better coach than his interviews suggest but I strongly suspect his ambitions are way above what he's capable of.

Collins says he’s no puppet and you believe him. If he’d told you the Earth was flat, you’d agree.

Facts are;
- We offered Grayson a 2yr deal and he walked away.
- We interviewed a number of candidates to replace him. None were employed for reasons unknown.
- Edin turned his attention to a rookie, part time coach who was mixing playing for Halifax and coaching our u18s for a few hours a week.
- Collins picked Killa as one of his main centre-backs all through pre-season but he refuses to include him in any match-day squads since.

All facts and no “shed load of conspiracy theories”. And we’ve all seen that photo of Rahic calling down to Collins last weekend. Or do you need transcripts of their conversation before you’ll believe there is some influence..?

 

So this is the guy who takes no notice of what the outside world says. If it was that ridiculous, he wouldn’t need to comment. This adds more fuel if anything.

 

It's just another Collins gaff, every time that guy opens his mouth it's either laughable or a disaster.

 

What’s the issue?

Collins has won 2 out of 4 games, inc last night, and he’s defended his position. Other managers / coaches have done the same before and they’ll do it in the future.

Some of us are quite alright that he’s said what he has. Some of you aren’t, but tough luck.
