I find that embarrassing if I’m honest.

We’ve had a fair to middling start. Two clean sheets and 9th position with a half decent platform, certainly if we win against Wycombe on Saturday where we should be winning.

But just get your head down Collins and manage the team if that’s the case and answer the question but what are these David Brent style jokes about?

Get a grip and get on with it.

His press work needs work. He’s got a lot to learn. Why give anyone any more ammo? Just answer the questions and be bullish about it but he seems too involved in what people are saying about the club. Like no manager I have ever known before. Shows naivety. Manage the team and let the players and results do your talking

I agree How. For someone who says they take no notice of social media "nonsense " he did rather seem to be focusing on dispelling the untruths as he saw them. What else could he have said? "Yes, Edin does pick the team"?

He showed naivety by sounding slightly cocky on the back of a result that could very easily gone against us instead of for us.

He said he wanted respect and that they knew what they were doing. When he convinces me that he does indeed know what he is doing on a consistent basis and is getting improved performances out of our players he will have my absolute respect. Until then, he will have to make do with just my support and very best wishes.

 

Don't think anybody "hates " sceptic more like . An after all ER has said Iwhos to say wether or not he does pick the side or has a hand in it .

 

Another Edin Rahic thread, just what the doctor ordered. I hate talking about the football, talking about this is far more interesting for 15 hours a day.

I agree. Not only did he protest too much against something he professes to take no notice of he tried to sell us the line that it's all about the players and not him. Yet he still manages to spend a large part of the interview taking credit, telling everyone he knows what he's doing and demanding respect. The guy talks in cliches which gives the impression that he learnt the talk but doesn't really know what it means in practice. I sincerely hope he's a better coach than his interviews suggest but I strongly suspect his ambitions are way above what he's capable of.

 

He should leave it alone in all honesty however after last weeks hysterical stupid over reaction you can’t blame him

I think it’s embarrassing that you actually expected ‘a puppet’ to come out and deny the claims. If (and I’m not saying it is true) it was true, did you really expect Collins to do anything other than dismiss the rumours? Really?

If Edin isn’t involved, what is the REAL reason that Killa has been frozen out? You don’t really believe it is a footballing decision?

 

He's new to management and to giving interviews but he can only get better with experience. The guy needs a break from all the scepticism that's going about and just let him get on with his job. We will have plenty of ups and downs throughout the season and I hope Collins learns from his mistakes, which tonight showed that by him playing 2 up front he's learnt that this teams not equipped to play his preferred formation. In any profession you start at the bottom and learn as you go along in order to be able to climb the ladder and it's no different in football , and hopefully Collins can be successful but it takes time and patience from both sides (supporters).
