As mentioned, there's other ways to make increased revenue - around the cheap ST. Look at Tesco. They sell cheap booze and advertise cheap booze, knowing full well that people will go for the booze, but come out with a basket full of (regular priced) other stuff along with their original intended purchase of alcohol.
The club shop, catering and a whole load of side businesses within the ground or attached to the club, should be rubbing their hands at the prospect of a 16k captured audience, and more importantly, they should be geared up for it.

 

Agreed. They should start with next year's home kit, back to proper claret and amber and get rid of this year's knock off German flag bollocks. A good shirt would be an instant buy for me and many others.

 

Go into the club shop for a key ring and also purchase a little something to help numb the pain of watching sh1t football!

 

Totally agree. And if you check out Ebay, some of the classic kits are going for a right decent amount. The club should be trying to get the feel good factor back at the club, by releasing some limited edition retro shirts. I know some people of a certain age would definitely be interested.
Although this seasons shirt is quite ok imo, and I don't think it's deterred the die hard replica shirt fans from buying, I would prefer us reverting back to stripes.

Didn’t like the hooped shirt at first, thought it looked like where’s wally. But we had some good success in that kit.

 

There's some excellent concept designs on Twitter made by graphic designers.

 

I would think it is a "no brainer" that the kit will be a striped shirt next year.

 

I don’t really give a monkeys about the kit. I just want good players wearing it.

 

I want players who want to play for the shirt.

Kai Bruenker played for the shirt. He put in as much effort and commitment as anyone I've seen at City.

But he was rubbish. I want some quality as well as effort.

 

At £150 I've changed my answer to Yes from undecided. For that price doesn't matter if its league 1 or 2!

 

I'm anticipating claret and amber, and stripes next season; which will boost sales

 

I just wish we could keep a kit more than 12 months
