I have no problems with renewing but the one thing that would leave a sour taste would be if prices increased to invest in better players and none arrive, that would not go down well, I would also like to see if Rahic is still getting his percentage monthly pay being still the joint owner of the club.

 

What do you mean Rahic is still joint owner?

 

Has he not got shares in Bradford city fc or have I missed something, he came with the title of Joint owner and left the area to go back to Germany, there was no suggestion that he had resigned or indeed relinquished his share holdings in Bradford City fc.

 

I'll renew because I can't get this ifollow to work reliably enough.

 

He had shares in the German holding company which owned City.

There hasn’t been an announcement of a sale yet but maybe @Dennis knows more or they are looking for someone to buy the minority shareholding, eg Dave Baldwin.

 

I am seriously considering returning to the fold after an absence of about 5/6 years. I stopped buying a season ticket because I worked abroad quite a lot and found that I didn't actually miss it too much. I have now settled back in Bradford and even though the footballing fare on offer might not be too clever I find myself looking forward to commentatry on the radio.... seems like the next logical step is to get myself back to the games.

 

I work with about 5/6 lads who do exactly same. Religiously listen on radio . Great that they still want to listen but come on get your arses down and enjoy the footie

 

And don't forget the half time entertainment where @Fordy117 does doughnuts on the pitch in his imaginary Mercedes and then tosses a few midgets.

 

It will be interesting to see what sort of cash he is still entitled to, I assume he will still have some sort of contract.

 

It depends how his employment was terminated. If he is no longer employed by the club then that should be it except for any shareholder distributions which I can not see happening at the moment if we are running a deficit of £2m

 

The main thing is Rahic has no involvement in the running of the club.However,if he still owns 22.5% then that is a big annoyance for me
as paying him anything irritates me no end.

 

Me too. It would be like rewarding him for failure,if he had any integrity he would allow his shares to be sold and we move on.

 

Dunno, undecided, will see what l feel like pre-season.

I was one of those that didn't renew because of Rahic. I haven't missed being an ST holder at all, I've seen City once at VP & 3 times away, l am glad l didn't renew as I've enjoyed watching football elsewhere and l've always said that l love football more than City.

But it's a relegation fight that l haven't missed...l suppose l'd have been pissed at missing a promotion one, not that l expected that...

It's up to the club really & what the season promises to be.

 

Maybe the club should look at fans ideas before a straightforward heavily discounted price? A lot of fans have intimated they would pay more to give the club more to invest in the team.

If prices are maintained at current levels it doesn't give that extra financial lift to try buy quality to give us a real chance of promotion.

Those that can't afford to pay more are already making a sacrifice to support the club.Maybe Fordy could buy a ticket for a million and who knows??

 

I believe, and this might be completely wrong, but he will lose his shares at the conclusion of this season, and Rupp would be 100% owner at that stage, unless someone else bought in.

it's something to do with the salary he has drawn is more than the value of his share.

 

A hefty proportion wouldn’t our price structure is now taken for granted and even at £150 I will be surprised if we sell more than about 16/17000.
Rupp will want to sell as many as possible for obvious reasons but also the more we sell it will look good to any possible buyer of the club
