Surely the 4/5k who didn't renew because of Rahic will ALL return?

In lots of places it is now over £3 a pint and often £3.20. So just a pint and a half per week, worths of dosh over a year, will cross the finishing line.

I thought you might’ve presumed this.

Arguably, our fan base is as big as it’s ever been; so comparing what we had sold in our L2 days (07-12) is hardly a fair comparison - given the club has come on in leaps and bounds since then.

During our 6 year punishiment in L2, we sold on average of 11,250 ST per season, with prices varying between £138-£200 for adults (not inc the special prices for Bradford End and early bird deals). My point being; the club have worked very hard on growing the fan base since 2007, and with the recent success (yes, we’ve an ONE poor season SIX years), it’s going to take a lot (IMO) for us to lose 7,500 fans in 24 months.

Yes, we have lost circa 2,500 ST holders this season; but if you deduct the fairweather support within that and the 1,000 freebies the club dished out last season, we haven’t lost the number of ST holders some fans like to think we have.

The club are gearing up to release a massive marketing campaign to flog tickets next season - thus providing reassurance to those fans who haven’t renewed this season, and to those fans who may be thinking about not renewing next season, that the club is being steered in the right direction. This, with the financial backing Hopkin and his team will receive next year, should ensure that the ST take-up will be fantastic as ever.

I think season ticket prices need to increase to at least £200 because despite Edin leaving, not all the lost fans will come back with City struggling this season.

At the meeting Edin said he would continue charging the suite price for a season ticket until they run out in 2025/26. With Julian there I can’t see them going back on that.

He said a final decision would be made and announced but he couldn’t see a reason not to if what had been said was right. No announcement was made then

You've given it a lot of thought and it's a well constructed post so fair play. I disagree on a couple of points though - I dont think our fan base is significantly different than it was 10 years ago. We have a significant 'floating' contingent who choose whether to go based largely on cost and value/quality. The cost will be low but the quality is unlikely to be - we need a massive rebuild and we have financial challenges - again. We may have picked up a few younger fans but we're losing a fair few to apathy. Given the last 18 months or so, I see no reason why we'd expect an unprecedented level of record ST sales.

If we go down, I think we'd do well to sell 10k STs. A lot of people I know just can't be arsed any more. We're going nowhere as a club and people have other things going on in their lives. There s so much football on TV that people aren't as bothered about going to live games to get their fix. Gates are dropping across the country for similar reasons (along with the cost).

I'll be getting one, assuming theyre not about £300.

it's all well and good saying we need to increase prices to bring more money in, but would it actually raise more money? less people would buy at the higher price, meaning any increase would be negligible.

I don't think prices will go up this year, as the club have to get fans back onside after the year we've had both on and off the pitch.

I think it would be wise to keep them around the same price for next season, let us get a good feeling around the club again and then rise the prices the following season.

What i have noticed is sitting in the lower part of the main stand, more and more of the kids are not turning up.
Going to be hard to get them and their parents to come back.

The club is skint,Rupp wants to sell up and get his money back.Cannot see Hopkin getting much of a budget to shout about.
Selling more season tickets and attracting new sponsors is a tough ask.
Prices went from £149 to £169 so they could put them to £189 and it wont be long before they are over the £200 barrier but it might be wise to hold off if the club get relegated.

If we go down no, not for financial reasons I just can’t justify wasting my free time on Bradford v Crawley, Bradford v Stevenage, Bradford v Cheltenham etc. Been there and done that the last time we were in League 2, don’t fancy it again.

If we stay in League One then probably, even if I can only make 7 or 8 home games a season due to other commitments it’s still a worthwhile investment.

Yes, will renew the four we have. If us supporters crave susses we should be happy to pay a bit more. Might be a bit contentious for some, but you get what you pay for.

I’ve gone undecided only because I don’t know how I’ll be job-wise. Assuming I’m working I’ll be renewing
