I don't know SM's thinking and remember he inherited the size of the current squad. PP used to work on 23 with the prospect of the loan market (as the rules were then) to cover for injuries and that size squad, or thereabouts played 64 games in 2012/13. In my view 20 is not enough and we have seen the short comings of smaller in the past, e.g. playing McBurnie and others when they weren't ready.

This government allowing for the mistakes they have made in the handling of this virus have done more than any country in Europe to look after people and save jobs over the last few weeks.
In fact many (not all) have been treated to well that’s why they can pack beaches and beauty spots but are to scared to go to work.
They have intervened in the economy more than any labour government in history and will have to so a lot more before we are back on track.

I hope that the PFA and the EFL is looking for ways to support players as their contacts end. Realistically, in the short term, a lot of footballer's careers are now over. Psychologically that is going to be very difficult.

I'll be honest, I don't want to lose City or the lower league. But, I can't see myself sitting down and watching crowdless football on TV.

I don't know where we go from here.

I think most will turn them down but there will be one who will threaten to take them to court etc

 

Any money will be mopped up well before any income comes in. People who want their money back should contact the club but with the prices we charge it’s a very small amount t anyway

When league football does return to Valley Parade it's nice to see JCT 600 have sponsored the club again for 3 years.

 

I have never thought more than it would be a major achi of nowhere to somewhere for Harrogate but now it's the uncertainty of the playoffs. I don't mind the Shaymen at all, I'm good friends with Bobby Ham, David Bosomworth and Stuart Peacock and I know what a struggle it is for them. Either H'gate or Shay for me rather than the expense of trips to Barnet Borehamwood or our nemesis Yeovil but I fear both the Yorkshire boys may miss out.

 

I fell asleep during the Man City game. Really shows how much fans make football. Despite the football on show from City, the whole thing was very one dimensional.
