The government are looking to bailout a few companies/sectors this week but by opening things like the retail sectors and automotive that's two industry sectors that they won't have too.

This government allowing for the mistakes they have made in the handling of this virus have done more than any country in Europe to look after people and save jobs over the last few weeks.
In fact many (not all) have been treated to well that’s why they can pack beaches and beauty spots but are to scared to go to work.
They have intervened in the economy more than any labour government in history and will have to so a lot more before we are back on track.

They are bailing out companies that are essential to this country trying to get schools back and being hampered by the looney left.
Yes they are taking risks here and may have to put the brakes on but we have to try and get things moving now.

Do we bail out Scotland, Wales and Northern Island as well?

Just thin England and the US have looked at Sweden and even Brazil then thought we made a massive with this lockdown.

T UK's rescue spending was estimated to be about 5% of GDP as of two weeks ago.

In the USA, it was 14%, Australia 11%, Canada 8.4%.

In fact, in Europe, Belgium, Germany, France, Austria, Slovenia, Netherlands, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Malta, Luxembourg, and Latvia have all been more generous as per GDP.

What we have done as a country is generate a massive portfolio of loans and lending - even then, France have lent more than we have.

Whether the UK has done enough to save jobs is unknown as yet - but it's definitely not true that the government has gone above and beyond compared to European neighbours. They have underwritten a huge amount of money, but given out relatively little to support businesses and employment.

See Nathan Jones gone to Luton @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler they can't be in that much financial trouble. Think they would have got rid of their ex manager anyway.

Funny we get McCall back for the fans but we won't have any fans. Nathan Jones was the manger I would have seriously considered if it wasn't about just pleasing fans.

EFL now set a new meeting date of 8th June to decide what’s going to happen. Think we’ve had 3 meetings and still nothing decided. What a joke of an organisation

Ah but THIS meeting is a meeting to agree a statement about a meeting which may lead to another meeting where a further statement will be made.
