Who needs to go for this club to move forward

Do we know he McCall had control of the budget? This whole situation smacks to me of him having a severely restricted budget and McCall in his interviews trying to maintain the confidence of the players he has and also not revealing the true issue and dropping his employers in it. I'm not making excuses for him, just think there might be more to it

 

he may not have control of how much the budget is but he has control over how it is spent.. or that would be boardroom interference and we all know he won't work under that. didn't he himself also say there was plenty left when the salary cap was voted in.

I don't think he knowingly allowed it, more he wasn't aware of Rahic trying to get involved.

 

so you think McCall would put up with being told who he can sign and who he can't, as long as it is within budget, again? I don't think he's the right manager for us to progress but even I give him more credit than that.. seems people are just looking for excuses for him now.

Maybe, just maybe, it's somewhere in between. The fact he gets a wildcard from that period really fecks me off.

I'm not particularly suggesting interference, just that maybe he hasn't got the funds to get the sort of players he wants.

 

there's apparently £300k+ left in the budget.. everyone in the league is working to the same budget. what more does he want? he knows the parameters set (by the league), if he doesn't want to work within those then he should quit. what other excuses can be made for him - always seems like it's something else in the way for him.

next it'll be that the kit design was wrong to get the best out of the players.

 

Just because we are £300k under the salary cap doesn't mean there is £300k in the budget

 

My original comment was with regards neither Julian or Stefan would have a clue, I don't believe Stefan was aware of much of what was going on behind the scenes he couldn't believe his luck during Stuarts first season and getting to Wembley, I'd think Rahic told him it was his input that got us there.

 

The rare times Rupp has spoken, hasn't he said there's more money if needed? Or was that Rhodes?

 

so when McCall said there's plenty left in his budget he was lying? might as well give him a lifetime deal as have done with it.. now I get why some call him teflon.

Its not Rhodes any more its Stuart but thats not the point. Look everyone on here can see how inadequate the squad is so I'm going to take a wild punt and assume Stuart does too. It makes absolutely no sense at all to not spend some of that money if its available

 

But the club can only spend to the transfer cap limit that's what I was meaning.

 

Which is due to the 'selection' of players he has. Every player struggles at least one formation or system.

 

That is true but as far as i am aware, actual new signings are evans and Samuels. Whether they were actual top targets is unknown and for me doubtful.
