    Sorry mate new blinds being fitted and fitter said anytime from 10 till 2 :(, our lad was down and said every time Wright touched the ball it went backwards, nowt new there then.
    He did say Drury was taking the game ?.

    Sorry but I can't subscribe to this idea of playing Mellor and Wood as wingers infront of two full backs in a must win home game, it's far too defensive.

    I've tried to prioritise where possible, our players rather than loans. If Bowyer stays, he's not going to be working with the loanees next season, so probably best to get in a bit of groundwork now, going forward. Also, Doyle has scored 9 in 29 compared to Balls 4 in 24... and we really need goals at the minute.

    I think we're going to have to start fast and score the first goal. An early goal conceded will probably kill us off.

    Playing Wood and Mellor as wingers, christ we've hit rock bottom to even be thinking something like that.

    I like this choice of line up. It has 12 players and we really need any advantage we can get these days.

    I am not disagreeing with your choice of line up, but Ball has been playing on the wing or in attacking midfield where goal scoring is not as expected as in the centre forward position. Doyle has played as a centre forward where goal scoring is expected.

    4 of Doyle's 9 goals have been from penalties. I had expected better than this from Doyle when he was signed.

    Reading the brief reports from yesterday's friendly it doesn't sound like any of the fringe players are banging on the door for a starting place. Does anyone know if Bowyer gives youth players a chance or does he prefer older pros like Parky did. Probably more a question for next season if he's still here

    Not sure it's a time to be trying youth players unfortunately. I'd say he'd go for experience over trying a younger untried player but could be wrong.

    I think ability and attitude are more importantl than age. I think over all Obrien has been our player of the season so far and he is just a kid..

    Good point but I think if our youth players had the ability and attitude of an O'Brien we would have seen them more this season.
