I actually like your Patrick thinking, whilst he’s not very good he would give us some much needed pace out wide

Never thought I’d say this but think Payne should give way, we’ve become too predictable

We need to win so 2 strikers please

 

What I do want to see is some organisation and a bit of fight in the side.
For too long we crumble at the first bit of pressure. It would be nice to see a city side who can defend for once. That way we will give ourselves a chance of survival.

Question for those dedicated souls who went to Portsmouth. Did Wood do anything to show he's a better left back than Chicksen? I think Wood looks better in that left midfield role and gives us some of the width we want

 

gotta be having a laugh with the inclusion of Omari Patrick.

 

I thought wood was very good in all honesty. Sounds weird given he was in a defence that shipped 5 but he was only on the pitch for the first two which came from the penalty spot and a corner.

He kept the best winger in the league quiet and the few times Lowe was free, woods pace meant he was able to recover fine. It's no coincidence Lowe scored 5 minutes after Wood was taken off. Has to start ahead of Chicksen, it's a no brainer for me.

if caddis is fit i'd put anderson, and mellor in the middle, need height and players that are up for a scrap.

 

I do think our left side has looked best when both Chicksen and Wood have played. It's the team rather than the individuals. To me we haven't looked as comfortable when OB has been pushed to play out there because his natural position is more central

 

In Drury's words it was to get another striker on the pitch as Miller came on. LOB played LB and didn't have a clue what he was doing, not that it was his fault.

 

For me Chicksen and Wood is too defensive. Wood is good enough to start at LB imo. Agree though LOB doesn't look comfortable out wide.

 

I would play 442, some players will have to fit in where they can, but under no circumstances do we try and start with one striker, we need to attack.

 

Wouldn't mind seeing Colville play I thought he impressed earlier in the season I would leave Butterfield out he shown nothing to say he is up for the fight

 

Agree about Colville but disagree about Butterfield, he's not done much wrong. There was only him and Wood who got stuck in on Saturday.
