Got rid of Paul Taylor quick enough, though.

Think your getting a little ahead of yourself where have I suggested that he should have his mental health issues (if that's what it is) quoted all over social media.
An appointment at his doctors will be dealt with in a professional manner, and then Jake could let his employer know the situation, who I would suggest will also handle it in a professional way.

If he is refusing can we go down Sunderland route and get the contracts cancelled?

Nobody knows if he is refusing to play. I would have thought that if he is refusing to play then the club would do something about it, especially as it's been 4 managers know that he's been out of action and I definitely wouldn't have though Hopkin would play along with it.

We should declare him as permanently unfit to play and claim the insurance

At yesterday's press conference David Hopkin was asked about Reeves and the questioner was told he needs to ask the physio department what's wrong with him.

In the 2 seasons before he came to us he made 103 appearances and scored 2 goals. So far, since 2017 he’s made 27 appearances for us.

I wonder if the lack of investment in the sports science, physio department has cost us badly. One thing I have noticed is that other club players, wear the performance recording devices under their shirts and we don’t. Maybe this is something Hopkin alluded to and the reason for the sports science expert.

It can’t be coincidence that a number of long term injuries happened when we had a basic physiotherapy department.

I believe Phil Parkinson had one onboard as James Hanson commented during his time with us.

Reeves clearly lacks the mental strength to push through the pain barrier. All footballers suffer from aches and pains, especially after being out for so long. Daniel Sturridge is exactly the same apparently.
Reeves could do with seeing a sports psychologist.

To be fair that was asked by a Radio Leeds journo who DH had the hump with for asking about Bruenker's ability. This was the next Q, which DH answered abruptly.

the problem with groin / hip injuries is that for a footballer everything you do; every movement, ball contact, single-limb balance, change of direction, jog or sprint effects the groin / hip - it’s like asking a rugby or hockey player to pass a ball or push a puck without using their shoulder. plus with him now being out for such a prolonged period, there’s probably some amount of muscle atrophy and imbalance which will lead to one side being more dominant and making it more susceptible to further injury.

we also have no idea whether the injury is muscular, vascular, soft-tissue or nerve damage. unfortunately, we may never know.

Difficult for him to answer honestly. Players do have rights of privacy, and we have just got back to having a happy camp.
