When is Jake Reeves back?

He's already under contract for next year

Some of my favourite players are the ones lauded for no reason whatsoever as potentially outstanding.

Jake Reeves is one, he slots nicely alongside Jack Compton, Matt Bates, Ross Hannah, and Rouven Sattelmaier as players who just need that chance to show how good they are.

Or something.

 

Is it a definite three years or a two plus an option for a third?

 

Has anyone thought that Jake Reeves could have some kind of depression/mental health issue? He needs the right support if this is the case.

 

My eldest, who had just turned 13 at the time, was presented with match ball at half time on the pitch by Ross Hannah for his birthday treat. Thought he was gonna be a good signing but is now at Gainsborough Trinity.

Full three years, mate.

 

I think the difference with Reeves is that we have evidence that he's a genuinely good player. The first few games of last season, before his injury started hampering him, he was playing very well - so well that some fans (foolishly IMHO) even claimed he was an upgrade on Cullen.
The Reeves that started last season would walk into our current side and significantly improve it. But whether we'll ever see that player again is unknown. We don't know know whether his problems are purely physical or more in his head. Very puzzling.

 

Unless he makes others aware he has a mental problem and seeks help, then he wont be able to get the support you mention

 

it was already said by the club that he as it in his head he as a niggle, even Hopkin is fed up with him now.

either homesick up north or refusing to play since he got booed off.

Maybe he is getting the help but doesn't want it to be common knowledge?

 

Maybe, you're trying to find an excuse.

 

Maybe or maybe there is a problem. Hopkin has mentioned its possibly more in his head than in an injury.

 

Maybe, just doesn't want to play for us.

It's in his head but he won't play for us this season. That makes no sense.

 

Why would he decide he doesn't want to play for us?

 

Because maybe trying to force a move back down south.

 

You would have thought he'd give up on that idea after it now happening so far.

 

Lets hope thats the case if indeed he does have mental problems.

 

I’m sure he has, and if so these are private issues. He might not want his state of mental health to be all over the media.
