And this just sums up why you’re considered a joke on here. You’re just a walking contradiction. You start by agreeing that you only rate 4 players but then suggest the players/squad shouldn’t be in the bottom 4...! Why not, if only 4 of them are “ok at this level”, which must mean the others are less than ok?

I’ll say it again, if you only rate 4 of the players, I’d suggest Hopkin is a miracle worker to be picking up points and almost getting a draw at Sunderland and against Pompey.

Oh and what are your considered?

    Mr aggressive with no balls?

Hopkin started off bad here and is improving. Let's not get carried away like you do when you're fighting with yourself in your little mans phone box.

I'm sure Mr Hopkin will be looking for improvements himself.

    Get a grip of yourself.

Nope. Possibly considered ‘argumentative’ but I will always try to back up my opinion with fact where I can. You just spout negative shit that is contradictory from one sentence to the next.

As for ‘no balls’...... I had them the last time I looked.

As I say Hopkin is improving us "NOW" but we need to improve our squad.

We're still in a relegation battle and until we're safe then the manager, owner and players still have a lot to prove to fans this season.

We move on to a game on Tuesday and the transfer window fully opens in 2 days. Let's see what happens..

It strikes me that Hopkin has found a system which can exploit this group of players talents.

The previous incumbent and the ‘puppet master’, frankly did not have a clue.

The fitness levels in physical speed and ability to think under pressure plus stamina, has started to work to the skill set.

A fast pressing game, with the ball being played on the deck into dangerous positions, has left opponents looking anxiously.

The fact that we are scoring for fun, is a credit to this group of players!! None of them are Hopkin signings (bar the Caddis goal) and it is great to see.

    Clearly Hopkin ‘does know football’!

Without doubt the transformation has been dramatic. Not being able to score to banging them in for fun has been amazing.

Fitness much improved and we may still be in the bottom four but our form indicates that is now a temporary situation although Bristol Rovers are showing signs of moving up so getting clear is going to take longer than we might expect but that should bring other teams in bottom half down to us.

Tone down your aggression and your thoughts may come over as more reasonable. I think everyone will agree that we can't stand still and must improve the team. This has to be done with next season in mind. We have seen how many times that teams carry end of season form into the following season but our recent form shows we are good enough to survive this time. No comparison between the fitness of the same players that David inherited so to say he is doing ok is some understatement.

I agree but maybe not as blunt as you put it. I think it’s plain to see now. We have a top half side playing like one. It’s goes to show the importance of a manager but more importantly preparation and support staff and a decent pre season. Rahic provided one half but was so arrogant to think he could control the other half. Plus look what’s going on at Man Utd. They are similar to us. A poisonous cloud has been lifted.

Will give you a bit of background on Davie Hopkin (or 'Hoppy' as is known back home!)

He broke through as a skinny teenager at Morton... and he wasn't up to much! He picked up an injury and was out for quite a while. During his time out he got himself exceptionally fit and must have hit the gym hard, as he came back an absolute tank! Basically he transformed himself as a player by working really hard on strength and conditioning...

He got the managers job at Livingston and transformed the team in terms of fitness/work-rate... hardly brought in any new players, but improved the squad enough to get them back to back promotions. Seems like he is doing the same with your club... it doesn't happen over-night, but he knows what he's doing.

Compered to who we have had in the last 50 years. Some good some not so good.
I would give David Hopkin at least 10 years.

Was it the Gillingham game where he would t speak to the press after? I thought he would walk but really glad he is still here now.

Playing some of our best stuff for a while and consistently too.

We’re on a good run against mediocre teams, let’s not get too carried away.

To suggest 10 year contracts after a few good results is absurd.
