When I was about 8 I'd finished swimming and got changed and was in the viewing area at the side of the pool. I walked somewhere I shouldn't have in my outdoor shoes and the lifeguard got very cross with me. He said I wasn't allowed to come back and then when it was time to go home he said I had to go out down this tunnel corridor instead of the main door. I was too scared to tell my parents. I went out of the main door with everyone else and was shtting myself that he'd see me. Never went back until I was an adult with my own kids. What a bully!

 

Strangely enough I got banned from a nightclub after never setting foot in the place
It was the opening night of Cloud Nine in Bradford early eighties my friend had got some tickets to the very exclusive bash so suited and booted we decided to have a few "liveners"before arrival
Old Crown, Yates wine lodge, Unicorn, Boy and Barrell etc (got strange looks in those places being dressed up) On arrival at Cloud Nine the bouncer said I was too drunk and couldn't come in 15 mins arguing later I convinced him I was ok to gain admittance I promptly fell up the steps and was removed and banned without setting foot in the place I think I was the first ever to be banned from there and never went back

 

The Banana Bar in Amsterdam for constantly calling the Australian barman Skippy and generally been a cnt.

I was banned from the White Horse in Bingley for six weeks before my eighteenth birthday. The landlady suddenly decided she'd seen me in school uniform and refused my entry, even though I'd been drinking there for over a year on every Friday night. Luckily the Brown Cow was happy with my continued custom.

 

Loved Cloud Nine. No need to travel to Leeds in those days for a good night out.

 

I like that! It was a bit dodgy when we played Middleton WMC.

I should have been there but it’s a long story.

I used to live round the corner and I played for the pool team for some years.

My wife was the only lady allowed in the tap room. She was the safest person in there cos nobody would give her grief, everyone knew us and would not allow any harm to come to her!!!

Not really sure what cards were given out I got through the game unscathed, I don’t remember scores I was still alive and breathing. We all got pissed after the game, that I do remember.

 

Lion inclosure at Windsor safari Park, mate got out the car to take some pictures, didn't go down well Told we couldn't go back through. Also ask to leave the parrot show and whale inclosure for various reasons.
