What we know that Bowyer apparently doesn't

Don't you start as well , as I said I didnt recognise any of that starting 11 on Tuesday night, we have enough problems wondering what starting11 and formation Bowyer is putting out to worry about the opposition .

Makes it even more bizarre why he would play a weakened side and players out of position then.

Another reason for me that he’s the wrong man for the job (and I don’t make these types of comments about managers lightly)

None of the Preston lads who played against us would come on loan to league two. They are first teamers who will play there part over a 46 game season.

 

Your last sentence is interesting. I'm not at that stage yet but i'm yet to be impressed with anything he's done on the pitch so far. Very early days yet but football is a very demanding sport especially from fans with ambition. 12 months from now i do not want to be watching league 2 football, i've watched 2 games so far and it ain't any better than it was last time. Perversely it was pleasure to watch some decent football on Tuesday albeit none of it from us. Struggling to get motivated for tomorrow as it stands.

 

I believe he played the likes of Paudie .Scannell, Akpan to give them game time, maybe the likes of Anderson, Devine and Wood to show what they could do,
I'm not sure Anderson is 100% fit yet, Devine hardly kicked a ball in anger last season neither did Wood so maybe selected to see what they offered.
I'm not writing Bowyer off far to early, I'm sure he will have players lined up for midfield ad now we may be saving money on Doyles wages (which I don't think is a wise move) lose either of the front two and we have no experience/back up to bring in.
Who'd be a manager some fans more than happy to judge him after three games.

Bowyer does sound like a frustrated secondary school Geography teacher who is trying to complete his final 5 years before retirement without killing a pupil.

 

In your case it's not.
I believe most reasonable fans were quite happy to give the manager and players from last season a reasonable length of time before they were judged hence my three game comment I posted 10 games but that's hardly long enough, we have seen teams struggling at Christmas and been in the play offs come May.
Christ some are saying tomorrows game is crucial/a must win/critical, yes we'd all like three points but the Oldham game will not define our season, so we need to stop putting pressure on the manager, the players, but most of all us fans and if we don't get three points some may vent their feelings by booing which won't help anyone.

It's a result business and make no mistake about it tomorrow's game is massive for him.

He is failing at the club and needs to start showing he is capable of doing the job here. We need winning runs. We need wins!

Where do I start with this?

Firstly, you said that when you saw ore-season and training, Anderson looked strong and fit. Now you’re saying you don’t know if he’s fit?

I get why he would give a run out to Scannell, Paudie and even Akpan, but they should have been the ONLY changes. He wouldn’t have got away with making 8 changes in the Mickey Mouse Cup, so why did he feel the need to experiment in the League Cup?

The likes of Hornby, French and Wood could have waited until our FL Trophy games. Absolutely no need to make so many changes, especially with sticking Doyle up top on his own...!
