About time we got someone who’ll bring some discipline to the club, we’ve been weak and gutless since the Rahic era. Which mercenaries on high wages. Time to be fitter, meaner and harder working than the other teams with a few bits of quality, that’s what’s needed to get out of this shitheap.

Sounds like DA struggles to make relationships. That's a bit of a shit trait at a club trying to do the opposite with the fans, sponsors etc. Wonder if we have shot ourselves in the foot here?

Who cares about this family club nonsense? I care about winning and getting out of this shite league and back to a decent standard with good clubs. If Adams does that I am not bothered how many “friends” he has in the game or at the club. If you’re not on board good riddance (not talking about you, more players/staff etc in general)

 

I live 10 mins away from Morecambe and regularly have a read of the match reports in the local rag from Morecambe's games, in 18 months that he has been in charge of Morecambe I don't think there has been any problem with the media on any scale or ever had any problems with the fans, maybe learned by previous mistakes but Morecambe fans can't speak highly enough of him.

 

I agree it’s not even a real thing anyway, every club in the country now has many families who attend we are nothing special on that score. Didn’t Millwall win community or family club of the year a few years ago as well? Even them with a bad rep have plenty of families as do the previous clubs Adams has managed, Parky was hardly a saint and other clubs hated our teams when he was here. Bring it on we’ve been a pathetic weak club for four years and it’s shown, looking forward t him cracking the whip with this lot and maybe we’ll finally move in the right direction. They’ll be plenty of families cheering us on if we get big cup games again and are fighting at the right end of the table.

 

Got to love this thread, many saying it can't be Adams for various reasons, now the official news has broken were bringing his personal life and that he might be a tee total, God fearing Scot into the debate, let's wait and see, they guy has an impressive CV let's hope he can continue his impressive past history at Valley Parade.

 

Thanks for the info. Sounds great to be honest. We’ve had too many Mr Nice Guys and people fannying around for a few years. We need a no nonsense manager who will take the players and fans into battle. Bring it on.
