I actually think that anyone moving in football circles will realise that the club is up for sale. It's obvious isn't it? A foreign owner with no interest in football or links to Bradford, who may have been partly duped in to buying in the first place, and has no wish to invest heavily again.
I would say that even though we haven't hung a sign on the door everyone knows we are for sale. So where are the buyers?

 

You keep guessing that there are no future plans for the club. Why don't you ask Mr Rupp/Mr Rhodes to sit down and discuss them with you personally rather than inanely ramble on here about the matter. You are like a stuck record.
While you are there you can also tell them we need to *ahem* "kick on" and also help them to locate these fantasy plots of land where you could buy and build a top class training facility for less than £3 million.

In my opinion, if Rupp could get out with minimal losses he'd be gone

 

How does he leave? He can only leave if he sells, in which case somebody else will have to fulfill the role of acting as guarantor for losses. Or he liquidates or puts the club in to administration and loses all his investment. And Tolly says since he got involved there’s been a relegation and he’s had the McBurnie money. The club is in a far worse state on and off the pitch than before he arrived. Coped for 113 years without him, will cope after him.

 

CORRECT (nearly !! ) R & L DID indeed keep us 'ticking over' ........ But needed Cup runs and former player sales to feed that diet. Herr Rupp can tick us over without those. It was EDIN who sold the dream of moving City forward and up the Leagues ..... SR was only guilty of trusting and believing ER. (Like all of US !! )

 

We might well cope, but many on here, me included, want us to do more than cope. Look I have no great love for Rupp, but I see no evidence of any buyer with the financial clout and the will to take us forward. I would be more than happy to be proved wrong

 

I know nothing and ahar is right. Read my original post I was quite specific that my comments were my own opinion. Don't try to make something out of nothing.

 

Do you know anyone with a minimum £10m to buy the Club then take it forward to L1 then £20 m to reach Championship AND compete? If so step forward I'm sure Stefan would be pleased to hear.

 

In fairness it was the opposite direction to the one we all thought.

 

There may be people willing to buy the club, but are they also willing to make the additional ivestments you want. Do you know anyone?

 

I don't thi k anyone believes the club is worth 10m. But maybe at least that would be needed to buy the club and make the investment in infrastructure and players some are asking for

 

If that is the case then you are right but I'm not sure that is what Roger Owen was saying. I read it as 10m requiredto buy the club AND take it forward. I could be wrong. Perhaps @wetherbywhaler can clarify?
