Ok Harry made some great saves later in the game when arguably the game was gone. Goals change games and making mistakes early on sets the tone, drains the team of confidence and fires up the opposition. We would have probably lost this game without his mistakes but let's not kid ourselves, he needs to be benched. His confidence is shot but because we don't have an alternative he will continue to play. Let's hope for his sake he can get through the next couple of games mistake free.
If not expect the new manager to bring in a keeper in January.

 

I think your latter comment is a must, Lewis was an excellent signing I'd go as far a saying the best singing we made last season but a back up keeper is never a bad thing, of course McDonald could drop him for Doyle I dont think as a keeper the age is a detriment in factor it can be a bonus, not that I expect Harry to lose his place.

 

Remove Harry Lewis and insert any player into that gap and it's a generic response for some on here.

They don't like honest evaluations of current form and believe it to be an over the top, inaccurate and skewed view only brought about because of an unconscious (or conscious) dislike of the player.

I'd mention a certain centre forward in his final year at the club as conclusive proof but it would take the thread off course. Nevertheless though, it's definitely true.

Agreed but it means little.

Tulloch played really well and contributed to the win at Newport but what use is it if the other 14 games are below par performances.

 

And I never said there was. Fans are entitled to their individual views. However, my observation of how fickle fans can be is a widely acknowledged characteristic of football fans in general. This thread is a good example of that.

 

He's never been right since Crawley first game of the season when he went over on his knee...missed a couple of games but that was compounded by his side injury....his knee was heavily strapped on Tuesday and he was clearly limping from the start....but nobody else to take his place....

 

And different opinions are good for debate as long as they offer debate for what they have posted, rather than end of, or fact.
