Its an interesting one Fog, obviously the retained list now cant have more than recommendations from T&S so I am presuming Turnbull in particular will have had some sizeable input. My own experience is managers have their own teams and a network of scouts and 'football people' who could easily pass on info without to much difficulty, I think a lot will be apparent in how quickly we release the retained list and how quickly we name the new manager

 

He only won one of the last six at Salford Bowyer did better with the same players he won one in 12 at Oldham before hitting the revolving door onto the magic roundabout

If we're looking at getting someone proven to lead the line, we need to make sure we do a better job at managing our 'big' players than we have done recently.

It's backfired with Doyle, Vaughan and now Rowe, although I'm not sure you'd class him as a 'big' player.

 

He'll be going to a league 1 club, to good for league 2. Sort of player we should be looking at though

No I don’t think I am Tony. I’m looking at the “impact” of the return. Yes odd goals but what did the club achieve as a consequence?

I’m looking at the big picture. If it led to a promotion for example ...that’s what I mean.
