He's basically having to change the focus of his argument now he's seen evidence that actually, the facilities can't really be knocked. So now he's decided we are paying too much for them instead.

 

I have @Fordy117 on block so I’ll never know his interpretation, but at least I could know the truth, uninterupted by misinformation.

 

One wonders what Grayson and Stephen Warnock found to complain about too.

 

I think the Simon Grayson was a clutching at straws when he made that comment he didn't want the job but didn't have the b***s to tell it as it was, after all he was a Championship manager, Warnock's comment was a strange one for sure.

 

Both Grayson and Warnock arrived during a terrible winter and we struggled to get a home game on. The training pitches were damaged by the weather and even the 3G pitch was damaged by gales and unplayable. Most clubs at our level would have found training hard during that winter.

 

Grayson managing in India now, says a lot. Warnock was just joining in for Brownie points. I’ve talked about the range of facilities several times on here, now perhaps some at least will believe the quality.

 

I believe most do accept the facilities are more than adequate plus the youth development side being upgraded.

 

the day of the taxpayer bailing them out are well and truly over ............ the Bulls fans have shown there true colours in disappearing on mass when the shit hit the fan unlike our lot ............ if the council have any interest in promoting sport in this City then it should go to the club that pull decent numbers in when things are going wrong ........... not a club who could probably fit there fan base into BPAs ground ................

We pay a school instead of looking to invest ourselves. We own nothing. Just picture the real commercial value if we did own things.

Simple facts.

Why we would pay for a new facility when it would take 50 years plus to recoup its costs v the rent even if we paid £100,000 a year rent, which I seriously doubt is the figure. Why would a sensible lower league club get itself into that kind of debt when it has excellent facilities available and pays peanuts for it.

You've see what we have available, it would cost tens of millions to replicate that, even if we could find a suitable plot of land that is convenient for transport links.

We don't need to own our own facility. IF we had that kind of money available to put into property, buying the ground would be number one priority.

Sometimes I think you live on fantasy Island. Your obsession with owing a training facility is bordering on Sunak's tax raising madness.

 

Spot on, I’ve also found out having been in business for so long, it’s the people who boast about their assets & wealth who have very little. The ones with the wealth do not need to shout it from the rooftops
