I'm yet to hear any names that people think we can realistically get. We're looking at free transfers or young lads on loan from the Champ. They won't be established first team midifleders who are going to consistently supply our strikers like we would like to hope they would. These type of players needed signing in pre season. Bowyer has made a mistake.

 

Please get over the McBurnie money. Its really tedious.

 

This is my concern. I dont have a huge problem with a slow start to the season, or tempering expectations about how quickly our recovery will take, or new players needing a few games to find their feet. But the tactical choices made by Bowyer are ridiculous.

Perhaps we could rescue Jim O'Brien from non league football at Notts County. Hopkin made a big mistake not offering him the extra year's contract. I know there were fitness concerns, but he seems to be playing at the moment. He would be just what we need on the pitch.

 

Thought you might pick up on it! It is hard not to be disappointed with the way we have started, for me its not so much the results but the way we are performing (or rather not) with a total lack of style.
To be honest what makes it worse for me is I am surprised as I thought we were coming into the new season with some momentum, but somehow GB has squashed it so quickly

 

But a fact? We have received money from Swansea. If Bowyer says he desperately needs a couple more players, you don’t think Rhodes will try to persuade Rupp to part with enough to do so?

Why should we “get over the McBurnie money” when we know it’s there? Nobody is asking Rupp to spend the whole £2.4m+ but we do need to bring in 2-3 more players urgently

Agreed. I was very positive going into the new season and I thought we'd take a few games to get results but I never expected us to perform so poorly. I was at Cambridge and grimsby where we were appealing in the midfield and attack, not there tonight but the result says it all. Bowyer needs a win on Saturday otherwise discontent will grow.
