Vaughan having fire in his belly and wanting better for the team he captains is somehow being a bad egg?! Ridiculous. Clearly given Bowyer it both barrels and rightly so. How can he turn this around? Where's he going to find that sort of quality in Doyle and Vaughan at this level. Won't matter who we sign. Bowyer isn't going to create any chances for them so we are just wasting our time. Football is a small world, word will have got round and with Doyle hitting the headlines each week for what he did at Swindon and not with us. Strikers will be aware their reputation would be destroyed instantly 1 month after signing. Who's going to want to join us. Mercenaries/has beens or kids looking to get experience. Totally shafted once again.

Gonna have to pull something out of the hat when Doyle is announced at Swindon, the natives are most certainly restless. Problem is whoever comes in is on a hiding to nothing due to the now toxic nature around the club. A bit of decent PR now and then wouldnt go amiss. Those fans that stopped going because of Edin most of them haven't returned. Those that have returned will more than likely stop going again.

People need to start realising that Mr Rupp is as bad as Edin. His taking a blind eye to things is extremely damaging.

The Edin and Rupp show smells like good cop, bad cop act but we all know the good cop is an ars&hole like the bad cop really!

I won't blame any fan for not renewing as Rhodes and Rupp are playing the hell out of fans.

Agreed. This is where the #149 will bite them in the arse as well. It was a great initiative. But the 6/7000 hardcore would easily pay 300. The issue isn't people on this board when it comes to season tickets. Its people that came for 149 and will leave as easily as they came. The debate on season ticket prices has been done to death on here - so I don't want to start that debate.

Again it all goes back to apathy within the fan base.

 

Listening to talksport this afternoon, they had a sports solicitor on.. He stated that it was very rare for a player to come out and refuse to play for a club or even demand to leave, he mentioned that the narrative around transfers is often put out by the selling club and it is often one of their reasons why a player becomes available..

I guess we have just been incredibly unlucky to have two players doing what is regarded as a rarity in the football world

 

When the cost of food, petrol, general expenses are going up.

£149 spending plus cost of travel and time will have to be a considering to all people and certainly families. It's not as straight forward as saying it's £6 a game etc.

People want attacking football, they don't want to be bored but more importantly they should want ambition.
