Vaughan and Doyle are proven scorers at this level.

The best we can do is bring in some different proven scorers.

    What difference will that make?

Have you ever known a situation more absurd at any club than this? Ousting the two best forwards in League Two, which they are, regardless of their performances for us?

Why does it matter who we have up front when the midfield create absolutely zero for them?

How many other clubs would like to have Doyle and Vaughan in their attacking line-ups?
As for Vaughan being of strong character with plenty to say. Did Bowyer not know that?
Bowyer will have to pluck a bloody big rabbit out of the hat or he’s gonna get some real flak. He’s served up crap, recruited poorly, is unable to get a tune out of Vaughan or the country’s top scorer and all with a near top of the division budget. Lucky for him we don’t have an owner who knows owt or cares. What a friggin shambles.

I honestly thought we'd announce a replacement before announcing he'd left which tells me we haven't got one.

GB's words were simply insulting to loyal City fans. I can only hope that the poor attendance on Tuesday night has already sent a message to JR and Rupp that fans' views on the shenanigans at VP are not to be ignored and fans themselves are certainly not to be taken for granted.

Next season's STs are now on sale and the price is fixed until 31 May. It's a small thing but I know my friends and I will not be buying our five STs until much close to the deadline if only to send a small message to the club that we fans are the lifeblood of the club whoever is the current owner or chief exec. I'd encourage other fans to think about doing something similar.

What’s alarming is the fact that we’ve left it so late in the transfer window to replace arguably our 2 best players. If there wasn’t enough time to replace them they should have stayed it’s as simple as that.

It’s also not fair on the players, because they’re the ones that have to deal with the sh*t coming from the stands if we go further downhill as a result of these recent outgoings / lack of replacements, even further demoralising the squad.

The whole club is in complete disarray at the moment, it feels like we’ve just gone back to Square 1.

You might want to rethink your skepticism of a riot outside VP tomorrow night Bronco....

Rupp, Rhodes and Bowyer, get out of our club.

    Absolute wasters.

    Losers.

    Shirkers.

    Jokes.

Let's wait till we see who's coming in before we all throw away our season tickets. Apparently Bowyer had a heart to heart chat with the players individually yesterday and some didn't hold back apparently. Looks like this is the outcome in that both Doyle and Vaughan want out.

In with what?? It's not a conspiracy theory. No one was murdered. Rupp just has no idea how to run a football club.

Bowyer was quoted saying "Somethings come to light that I can't not act on". Or words to that affect. Now that could mean Swindon have made an offer he can't refuse (I doubt it) Or Vaughan has been up to something that's been adding to the bad mood amongst the squad.

I hate Gary's football but I would agree with him standing up to footballers egos and letting them know he's in charge. Even if his football it's rubbish. You can't let the players dictate the manager.

May have been easier to get rid of him though and get somebody in to play to our players strengths though rather than the other way round.

Can imagine a meeting between Rupp, Rhodes and Bowyer in early January. Discussing the January of two years ago and Hendrie-gate. Rupp and Rhodes speculate that we are past that sort of thing, Bowyer asks for his beer to be held for the rest of the month.

Unfortunately history has shown that we fcuk until the last minute, and take more time ensuring the topping on the pizza is correct, instead of signing the right player! True to form, expect us to be scratching around at the last minute, while Doyle and Vaughan are already posing for press photos with their new clubs.
If we fail to get in replacements of the same calibre, then that’s it. No promotion, no respect.

You been in a coma? We've let two of the best strikers you can have at this level leave and the board are letting Bowyer stay by the looks of things. What's there to be pleasant about? I definitely wouldn't be putting my eggs in to Bowyer's basket. What striker is going to score goals under this regime if he can't get a tune out of Doyle and Vaughan. Bowyer should've been shown the door Saturday evening and get someone in to freshen things up and bring new ideas and get some chances created for the front 2. It's a disgrace the amount of goals we have scored with the strikers available to him. He should be sacked for the Doyle scenario alone never mind the football we have had to put up with.

I would say anyone who wants us to lose tonight is not a city fan when despite recent results we are in a decent position. I really hope Bowyer sticks it up a few hysterical backsides

Swindon sign Hope, kid from Leicester and bring Yates and Doyle back.

Meanwhile we sell the league's top scorer and loan out our own top scorer because our useless #### of a manager doesn't have a clue how to get a tune out of them.

But Omari' is back. Utterly depressing.

    So there we go.

Hit a sticky patch, stop winning, what do you do? Get rid of your goalscorer.

    Magic.

Well done Rupp, Rhodes and Bowyer, let's hope you aren't all here when Vaughan returns.

    Fools.

January is notoriously a sellers market where teams want a player in before they allow one of theirs to leave.

Bradford City however, loan out their captain and top scorer even after their main replacement target rejects them.

This all being less than 72 hours before the deadline.

This club is being run by absolute amateurs.

So would signing lionel Messi but it was about as likely.

Don't let the club fool you, at no point did they ever think they'd sign Grigg (or any other replacement striker) Vaughan was simply let go because someone flashed a five pound note in front of us.
