University of Bradford Stadium

Trust you not to look at the bigger picture.

Nah, it’s the nightlife and lack of things to do. Bradford is boring! Mega boring!

Had this conversation before.

So why would a student come to Bradford Uni? To do what? Don’t stay study! Uni is about nightlife etc.

If it didn’t cost a taxis about £30 to Leeds it would attract more.

Bigger picture! Government and council letting the City down!

General, would you come and study at this shithole of a city when you have the choice of some of the others you mention? I wouldnt come here if I didn't live here.

 

Thats the one based at Heaton from what I remember working there. A lot of students from the Far East from what I can recall

 

Hulls nightlife at better than Bradford and now have a marina with fancy bars etc.

Bradford on the other hand is boring! 17k fans every week to watch City mostly go because they are BORED!

they probably have a few choices one look up on Bradford would have any sane person going elsewhere ................. I mean imagine going to the City centre it would put you off straight away

My son studied IT at Bradford and now has a good job using his degree. The University actually has good outcomes for graduate level employment. It has a very good reputation for its pharmacy courses too.
People shouldn't jump to conclusions about the quality of education on offer because of where it is.

 

Or maybe they go because they support their team ….you only attached yourself because you can’t get a season ticket in the land of the bin dippers

And why does Bradford continue to get voted one of the worst Cities in the Uk

 

We stayed in Hull for a long weekend in a decent hotel (Wedding) , access to it was via an old refurbished dock , near the sea life thing “The Deep” or the City Centre. We tried the nightlife on the Thursday evening and frankly it was scary and I have been about a bit and nothing normally phases me. We went out at daytime after that and drank in the hotel at night. Wife hated it! So no it’s not very pleasant. A bit like Ivegate in the early 70’s around the Unicorn and Jubby’s place. That the best description I can give!

 

It used to be at Heaton. But they sold off the Heaton Mount premises a couple of years ago and moved the Business School onto main campus.
Shame. The Heaton campus was lovely.

 

Proper dump isnt it. We had a night out once there and it was eye opening. Couldn’t find a takeway open after midnight either which is a big thumbs down for me

 

Mrs bbb is a lecturer at Bradford university.

The one good thing to come out of covid is that she’s been teaching from home for the last 2 years rather than dodging the low life’s that inhabit the areas surrounding the campus.
