I don't get my head around the fact they come here because they're fleeing war. If war broke out here and I wanted to save my families life I'd get myself to Ireland. Same culture, first safe haven, same language, etc, etc. I probably wouldn't get myself to France and the travel across the sea again to get to Morocco.......unless there was something in Morocco that I wanted to get that wasn't safety?

You won't even own these results, you delude yourself as they are not as bad as they seem, and that people want you to continue to carry on. Even comical Ali the Iraqi communication minister was more believable when he said there were no tanks at the airport.

 

And what’s striking is that Labour has beaten every variety of Tory opposition - the mainstream ones, the left of centre ones that disassociated from the central party so far that they didn’t even put blue on their campaign material, and the openly racist right wingers like the odious Susan Hall. Nowhere to run Mr Sunak.

 

How much time do you spend in London? My kids live in Walthamstow and Forest Gate - both heavily mixed areas - so I visit regularly. There’s no trouble in either area. People get on with their lives quite happily side by side. This is what happens all over London for 99% of the time.

I saw Susan Hall’s campaign leaflets - full of apocalyptic made up shite. My kids couldn’t believe what they were reading. It bore no resemblance whatsoever to the everyday realities of London life. Which is why the voters of London comprehensively rejected her.

 

You probably won't recognise your family next time you see them when they're all burkered up lol ......

Labour didn't beat them, the Tories beat themselves with 14 years of failure that leaves us with the mess we have now. But its actually taken that long for Labour to get the upper hand, any decent political party would have taken the conservatives to the cleaners years ago, the fact it's taken so long just shows the incompetence of Labour, even now you have factions taking votes.
I look forward to the end of the conservatives as a political party, in their current guise they are finished, let's see how long it is before the public see the failings of a Starmer led government. Believe me it won't be long.

 

Tories are like a premiership club that finds itself in league 2 after years of mismanagement, sounds familiar....
It will take them a long time to recover.
