I think we've only been promoted as champions 3 times in our history, pretty dire that.

 

Maybe that's the thought behind the Bowyer move, Rooney leaves Derby at the end of the season and steps into the Salford job with his buddies.

What you have to understand is Derby as a club are in a mess. As long as he keeps them up then job done.

Also his name will just get him jobs anyway.

Strange move appointing Bowyer, even if short term. He's a dinosaur. They would have been better putting Ian Henderson in charge, or getting Bernard & Johnno back until May.

 

I agree, he could be seat warming for Rooney. Makes sense on every level. Big name appointment, buddies with the owners, could attract better players. Not sure about Keane though, he would be like having Joey Barton in charge of a drunk teenagers party

 

Funnily enough I'm agreeing with @Fordy117. Lately I feel TS does feel a bit like bowyer ball. they have only got two points from 12 and we never know where we end up come end of the season. Just a thought.
