Good Irish name that!. Never heard of him, or De La Torre, cracking name though. Heard of Scougall, probably the smallest opposition player I have ever seen

 

There is a really good video on YouTube showcasing this player 9 minutes of your time if anyone is interested.

 

Thing with these you tube highlights is they condense a few minutes of his good stuff, failing to record the other 5 years or so of garbage!

If we didn’t have all the shite of the last few seasons I’d like to dampen the calls of a big budget as it always ends in disaster for us. We sign a load of crap on big wages and get stuck with them and the team is always disjointed.

In an ideal world we go about our business in the window methodically and know what positions we want. Only the player and agent we negotiate with need to know we’ve got good wages on offer. Not you or the telegraph and Argus or anyone else.

I know someone like Sparks will blab to the press we have a budget of 2 million quid and we get another summer of poor signings

 

As long as they don’t have to play I am all for it. othereise its a pointless exercise when the parent club insist they play or they take them back. If they are good enough they will earn their place

You said agree and there will be a lot of competition for them as well so it’s important to get the right ones. A big downside to this is premiership teams don’t release players till the last minute leaving little time for them to bed in.

Point is you don't know when the season is starting. It could be November like @wetherbywhaler thinks. If the PL ends in July then they will quickly release players. In terms of loans I think it will be clear which players will be available by September.

The key thing is when next season starts. It's hard to plan anything without knowing that.

 

I saw a report saying that the FA are trying to open the transfer window between August and October. Personally I think we will follow europe and go with Septemer to October.
