If we hadn't get rid of Rahic, I reckon he could have been Edin to VP.

He knew how to pick a relegation cert.

 

Apparently Mansfield are the favorites to sign Michael Bostwick who was released by Lincoln. I would have loved him here, but I suppose we can't afford or don't need any centre backs, but I think he's better than what we have got. Also seen talks Mansfield are going to throw money at a promotion at all costs, that could work out to be their downfall if it all goes wrong.

 

It depends how they spend their money. Spending big doesn't guarantee success but it gives you a huge advantage if you spend it right.

If they chuck big wages left, right and centre at big names with no real plan or strategy like edin did then it likely won't work out.

However, they recently appointed David Sharpe as DoF who, in my opinion, would've been a much needed appointment at City. With his experience of helping to build promotion winning sides at Wigan, I think it may work out well for them.

Cooke and Connolly officially released in the last few days. I'd like Cooke back, he's clearly a good player and much more suited to Stuart than Bowyer, but as much as I liked Connolly I hope we are looking at better.

Posh have also released Alex Woodyard who I think fits the ball winning midfielder we need.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
Ask yourself this why was Woodyard and Vaughan loaned out,should they have not been playing for their parent clubs respectively if they were ripping up trees with performances of note

 

Same could be said of Doyle here. Just because clubs allow players to leave doesn't mean they're shit.

Wouldn’t say Vaughan was ripping it up but he certainly wasn’t the worst player we had at times and he would have probably gone on to score 15+ goals in a season we didn’t attack! There’s plenty of tranmere fans on his twitter post asking for him back

Jordy Hiwula given a free by Coventry he's still only 25, I think Stuart wanted to keep him last time he was here but was out bid by Fleetwood I believe ?.

 

I would definitely take him back. We need some pace up front to complement Vaughan and Donaldson in the squad
