He is not even in the squad at the moment. Look I have. Nothing against Law I just think he is capable of much more than he has shown this season

 

I think he may be refering to the fact Grayson isn't playing him. Not sure otherwise.

 

That's how I see it too. I think Reeves could fit in next season even if Grayson is here as he'll need a ball player - whether that's from the bench or in the midfield I'm not sure but your right about Law, he doesn't get enough credit from fans who don't appreciate the role he plays in doing the things you say he's good at.

 

That's absolute rubbish. Some of the games this season Law has arguably been out best player. Let's not make out Reeves has been head and shoulders above Law because he clearly hasn't. Law has struggled like others in the bad run of form but to say he's flattered to deceive all season is a daft remark even for you.

Of course you are. But you keep saying some of us are wrong to believe Reeves was carrying a knock and that’s the point I’m making.

Hanson never scored 14 goals In A league one season. Wyke’s hold Up play is also a million times better than Hanson’s. The two arent even comparable. That’s probably why Wyke gets a lot less criticism.

True, but when you compare Hanson’s best season for us at L1 level, his goal/min ratio wasn’t much different to what Charlie has this season.

This isn’t about what other attributes Wyke has. I agree his hold up play is better and his vision is a world apart from Hanson’s. But the point remains that Hanson was battered by some on here for “not scoring enough goals” and his replacement hasn’t scored many more.

 

He loses more challenges than Hanson because he's just not the same kind of strong, but when he wins the battle, he's better with the ball.

Swings and roundabouts.

Wyke converts at a far higher percentage, which is the crucial difference.

 

Hanson is much better in the air and worked a lot harder for the team. Hanson won a lot more headers at both ends of the pitch.

You've got to be fair to both players.

I'd take Wyke as he'll score more goals but Hanson would do a good job for the team and would probably build a better partnership, as we saw with Nakhi.

 

Hanson would struggle to do a "good job" for the Dog and Duck.

unless being a presence, and making a nuisance of himself when DEFENDING set pieces counts as a good job.

 

The same Nicky Law that was part of a squad that was within a whisker of going up. Part of a squad that got to 3rd in the table, coincidentally while Reeves was injured, the squad that you kept waxing lyrical about. Now suddenly Law has been found out? I'm sorry I can't take your view on Law seriously.
