It's a pity then as an 'alleged' journalist he didn't report the fact that Rahic was a charlatan rather than spout the bile coming from him.

The T&A since Markham's era have a lot to answer for, they just spout what the politburo at VP towers tell them.

Simon Parker doesn't care about the club. He's a joke!

Anyone serious in his position wouldn't care about getting banned from the club, they would be digging deep in to why it's failing so badly.

 

No, that would be a national tabloid.

Note, that did actually happen.

Not the local paper that is incredibly reliant on the club for stories.

Who's to say Parker or a local journalist didn't break that story to the tabloids?

The Sentinel went whole hog with Vale - The T&A didn't need to. Change was affected without the newspaper having to try and look like a hero during a very divisive time.

As I said to Fordy, let a tabloid take care of the dirty business. Why not? Provide them the story, let them run it, what recourse does the club have then?

These strategies are more intelligent and likely to be more successful than a local paper diametrically opposing itself to the single club it covers (unlike with the MEN, London Standard, Liverpool Echo, or even the Sentinel).

There are ways and means of deposing charlatans. You'll notice our charlatan is deposed.

There might not have been as much 'looking the other way' as you're assuming.

I think a lot of people played their part turning up the heat.

 

If he was that honest then he would be writing about the following:

How Rhodes must GO!
Is Rupp as bad as Edin?
Why is the club a shambles?
How come after all these years Bradford City has no assets?
Why can't we get better sponsorship deal. Is it mates rates?
Why is the City squad so slow?
Why doesn't the club hire a Sporting Director?
Is McCall really a good manager?

How can you class someone as honest when he doesn't write about the problems? It's like he works for the club. In my mind he's one of of the many reasons why this club doesn't move forward. If you are not questioned and just willing to accept what you have then you will move backwards and Bradford City are a club moving backwards for sure!

 

We didn't need Simon Parker. The Cows Arse team let you all know what was going on with Rahic long before most of you would accept it. SP would probably be in the same boat and just get slated for being unnecessarily negative if he printed anything some people didn't want to hear!

 

T & A is owned by Newquest.. Newquest is part of the Gannett group which has revenues of over 3 billion.

The T & A isnt struggling to stay a float.

The issue with media outlets isn't that they are struggling to stay afloat it's just that they seem scared of change.

You only need to go on to the T & A website to understand this. It's poor!
