    Even that is unlikely. Any fee will be nominal if he does actually get sold. He was known as a sick note even before he joined us and spent 2/3 of the season in the treatment room. And he did very little for us, so why would clubs be queuing up for him?

    You really believe this is true? How can it be in all seriousness?

    The prize money in the Premier League is so high, that just finishing bottom is worth more than £120m. Losing a sum of £1m a week adds another £50m to the pot. So what on earth cost them £170m because it sure as hell won’t have been on player purchases and wages

    He already is. £2m plus last season and likely more this season to give us a competitive L2 budget (remembering that we still have lots of contracted players using up the budget provided by ticket sales).
