    I'd in turn be disappointed if GB doesn't have a contingency in place in the event that a high earner was to move on to another club. Albeit like you say, it doesn't want to be last minute. If he goes today wed have 4 days to rectify the problem. I think the recruitment so far has been decent enough. Ismail waiting in the wings for that wide right spot too. If it meant wed get another top L2 quality striker in and a defensive midfielder in, I'd drive him to Blackpool myself. Hes spent for me

    Yep, I can't really argue about the value for money aspect and st the moment he doesn't look like the player I thought were getting.

    Agree, no good getting a large wage earner off the books if Bowyer doesn't have a replacement lined up.

    I'd be happy with that but Bowyer seems to love him so I doubt he'll allow him to leave.

    Might be a long shot but from memory Leon Best looks a bit like BRE and he has played for Bowyer before and is a free agent I think.

    It’s all good wanting Scannell away (I mean who won’t miss the million throw ins he gets rather than crosses into the box?), but you’d then have to replace him with another right winger all while the priority defensive mid/left wing/third striker positions are still to be filled.
