    It's difficult to say. Riley, Reeves, Robinson all long term absentees. We will be relying on Wood, Devine, Patrick etc this season coming off the bench or filling in on games when others need a rest.

    Shay is accomplished in L2 as a squad player and that's a fact.

    Every team needs squad players. 22 first teamers don't fit into 11 or the playing budget.

    Wood and Devine will be 'lower earners' and no issue in giving them games here and there to master their craft. Both young.

    I think we will be trying to bring them on, be good squad players.

    Where does Scannel fit into that? Its by no coincidence we have won our last two games playing a 442 and didn't win in our first three playing a 433.

    It would be ludicrous to change things back now to accommodate new signings.

    Scannel is our key man. Without him we will struggle for goals.

    We paid 250k and he's one of the highest earners at the club.

    He needs to be more than a squad player for a div 2 club knowing the above but he isn't good enough.

    Cooke replaces him for his natural position now and Shay isn't a forward.

    I don't see how he has a future at the club.

    Devitt was one of the best players in this league last season, in a mediocre team. Imo he’s not a position we really need to be looking at, but you can’t turn down the opportunity to strengthen your team with one of the best players in the league.
