Anthony O'Connor appears to have had a good pre season. If his attitude is as disruptive within the squad, as some fans believe, I doubt Bowyer would have tolerated and continue to select him.

So, I havent a problem if selected on merit

 

I agree, fresh start for me. If Bowyer thinks he's good enough that's a good enough reason for me. People forget he chipped in with a decent amount of goals from centre half last year. 6 goals isn't to be sniffed at. Seemed to have a good knack of being in the right place at the right time from set pieces. If the forwards do their share 6 goals from a centre half will be more than welcome.

 

Have to trust Bowyer. But leopards don’t change their spots.....
His true self will be shown when the pressure is on. That’s why Parky bought characters.

 

O'Connor doesn't automatically get a fresh start for me just because its a new season - if he turns out and is committed, and puts in decent performances then I might start to change my opinion on him, but until then I still remember last season.

 

I think a fresh start is strong for some of last years lot, however I’ll give them time to change my opinion of them.

 

Jimmy Ryan has signed for Rochdale that’s one who I think would have been great for us

 

I'm sure Bowyer would have know all about the lad and what he offers.

 

Maybe but if L1 clubs were in for him...

 

Jimmy Ryan if he’s fit would have been a great signing. Big question marks over his fitness given his long injury lay off though.

He was on Instagram this morning saying he was really down after some bad news I wouldn’t have thought this was bad news if it were true

 

Was out for almost a year with damaged knee ligaments. Made his comeback in the last game of the season for Blackpool.

 

The bad news might have been Bradford releasing him? Perhaps he wanted to stay.

 

Well if it is true from the clubs point of view you could understand it but very disappointing because if he applies himself he has the chance to be a really good winger
