    Maybe it’s also partly down to what wage they are indicating they want. If asking high then you’d want to make sure if injury risks etc. Less risk with a lower wage. However lower wage will know less about them. There’s not one size fits all in terms of Trialist

    As we don’t seem able to move anybody on it looks like the Squad is complete for the start of the season. And it compares well with any in league two.

    If he is, we can hopefully have a couple more in by early next week with a week to go to first game.

    Squad still feels light in my opinion @Park bantam@Park bantam. even if we’ve topped our budget, a couple of loans are going to be needed. It’s a long time to January

    For what it's worth I thought sacking Mccall was wrong and he had more than enough credit in the bank to get a chance to turn it round, come what may. I just don't think he's very good at coaching defenders as his team was an attacking side that won games by dominating possession and passing the other team to death. God they were good to watch!

    Fair comment I do think the Neil Warnocks coaching manual had a large impact on the way Stuart set teams up.
    As you say at times it was very good to watch, althought at times our possession football was over played IMO.

    He’s lost his way in last couple of seasons. Might be the right fit Luton. Less expectation for them this season.

    Aye and probably so in terms of his man management which is Warnocks greatest skill imo. Yeah we definitely overdid it at times but this is one reason I like Bowyer in that I think he'll mix Parkys grit/strength with Mccalls attacking flair.
