I would take a punt on Wallace and Hoolahan, depending on salary expectations. Both played over 25 games in the Championship last season. Wallace would give us an option wide with Scannell's injury woes, and uncertainty over Robinson.
Always likes Hoolahan, although at 36 years old, maybe time has caught up with him now?

 

I see Kazenga Lua Lua is without a club, full of pace and trickery and loves running at goal, he’s only 27! With Robinson on his way out and a lack of any real left sided wide man I think he’d be worth a punt, wages depending!

I mentioned Wallace the other day, who is currently being looked at by Fleetwood along with Ryan Taylor, and said they were exactly the sort of out of contract players we should be getting in to have a look at. There is zero risk in doing that and you never know, we might just find a couple of players that add that extra quality and experience we are lacking. If we don't think they have what we need, nothing lost, thanks but no thanks, but if they impress and we feel they can do a job for us, it might not cost that much to get them in. They are currently not playing and not earning so beggars can't be choosers!

 

Adam Hammill is agent now . I think he is under trial with Stuart at Scunthorpe

 

If he's still there, then over a week with Scunny. If he's good and fit enough, why so long to decide ?

Well if rumours are to be believed (and no im not getting into any of that on this thread) I’d suggest he won’t be playing anytime soon for us and a replacement may not be a bad idea. As it stands I don’t think we’ve really got any natural left winger that I can think of. I know Payne can play wide but is arguably better utilised in the middle

Well from what we’ve seen so far, unless Wright gets his act into gear I’d be tempted to drop him to the bench, play Payne centrally and Gibson wide left.

 

I believe Hopkin will get our midfield sorted it would be a bonus if Reeves was near fitness to give more competition.

 

I hope Colville will become a really good attacking midfielder

 

It would just be nice to see evidence that he's still alive! It's like one of those drama series where the character goes missing then 10 episodes later were told he died whilst on a holiday or something!

 

Or he could do a dirty Den and re-appear only to be killed off again after some dodgy porncast

 

Good player Wallace, would do a good job at VP

 

I wonder if we have anything left in the budget for an out-of-contract addition. It would be nice but I suspect we might have spent up.
