I saw this on Friday and thought nothing of it but it seems to back up the suggestion that we were in for someone last minute.

Missed out. Don’t they have to lodge a “notice of intent” by closure of the window then have a further six hours to conclude the deal ? If it wasn’t done by 11pm on Friday as far as I know it can’t happen

David ball has signed on loan for the season so at least our paperwork isn't a shambles like some suggest

Great news,we needed another forward and I think David Ball will get a few goals for us and hopefully form a great relationship with Doyle.
