If most had a night like mine, then understandable. It was far too warm to sleep, but fatigue comes back, and you suffer a lie in.

And that's without outgoings. Would like to get rid of Vincelot and Poleon. Like others have said, can't afford any dead wood.

Vince stays for me. A tough season last season but decent the year before. He can play 2/3 roles so handy to have as a squad member. I would move Poleon on though.

I only see us bringing in 2 strikers if we sell Wyke. Could argue a case for another right sided full back as well.

 

My main worry is, that it took us all summer to sign players last year, and took us all winter to sign players this year. Those targets that we wanted have now moved on, so who is left? If we leave it like we did last time, we're seriously fooked. I really, really hope that Greg has learnt his lesson, and Collins is going to be putting a rocket up him. Hopefully the three lads we've brought in have been brought in because Collin see's the urgency needed. An indication of this, will be how fast we bring in a keeper.

 

Needs to go for me, his legs have gone and has a mistake in him in every game. Even his passing was terrible last season. Don’t get me wrong we would need to replace with an experienced player but Vince will be a fairly high earner imo which we can’t afford for a bit part player. That’s if anyone would want him of course.

A bit of a bizarre worry considering we have already brought in 6 players and it is only late June.

I doubt we would have told Doyle 'no thanks' without a keeper lined up. It is pretty obvious someone has been offered, become available etc that we are likely to sign.

 

Pretty obvious like replacing or getting cover for Rory, or Doyle like we did when needed?
I think the one thing we can say about Bradford City - is that nothing is pretty obvious ever

 

I don't know if Odsal Bantam is on here but he's reported on #bcafc that he's heard Kilgallon is being released so he can sign for another League One side who are offering him a longer contract. Anyone else heard anything?

There is a difference in the situations.

 

I could see the reasoning behind this. We Currently have 5 centre backs in the squad, so either Killa or NKP to leave you would have thought.

 

Personally I think we need 5 CB’s in the squad minimum. Especially if we are going to play 3 at the back.

 

They certainly know how to cook in that part of the world, Phil.

On Buck Street in Bradford a bloke called 'Mick' used to own a cafe, on the corner......... He served the best Moussaka I have ever tasted. I've tried to replicate that flavour of his so many times - I never got close (And NO - He didn't tell me the 'secret' behind it all !!)
Although he did once offer me a GREAT tip - A whole chicken dressed and gently cooked with Rosemary and drizzled in Lime juice.
