A more relavent question is does it matter apart from more players available, the times I've seen the kid he had the odd cameo but I'm hoping were not relying on the likes of Gibson to be a regular starter.
Only my opinion but can't see the lad playing in the way Hopkin whats us to play, full in the opposition faces.

I don’t think having a target man means we will lump it. Just means when we are playing around the box we have someone we can get it into feet to and he can hold it up. At the minute we have to go in behind a lot to miller or Doyle running the channels.

A talk striker who can play - like Stead - would be fine.

We've seen over the last month that having clever, mobile and technical players in attacking positions can produce exciting, effective attacking football that produces lots of goals and which opponents struggle to deal with. The last month has been the best attacking football we've produced since 99. If we sacrifice that way of playing to go back to long ball, it'll be a travesty.

He played for a while at Woking a few seasons back, big and gangling striker who was obviously a threat in the air but also had a good touch on the ground at a lower level - all I would say is he would have to have improved quite considerably to be a threat in League 1. I am seeing BBC Surrey reporter who covers Crawley matches early next week so will get an update (ps when I saw him last week he told me Poleon was working very hard in last few games and bagged a couple of goals!)
