No idea Jon. Not even sure whether he is still contracted to Leeds. Never heard of him until I saw his nsme in this thread.

@JonButterfield mentioned he may have had his current contract terminated, so I said "has he been a naughty boy", I wasn't aware of the lad until his name was mentioned.

 

It would appear City had NO chance of signing Surridge from Bournemouth, anyway

Success as come to a few clubs despite sparse resources, so it's not always about having the funds. In our situation now though,I personally feel we need a plan that is understood by all and a system which suits all our squads abilities. Total understanding and commitment, a belief and a resolve to improve.The lads have to have the battle element driven into them 24/7 because we have to make the very most of what we have. Big ask for DH to regain control and the consistency required of his charges...but that is the job and results are needed to be seen bearing fruit on the field of play.

 

I've never heard of him, and I'm sure he's just mates with O'Connor - we can't sign him as he's still contracted to Leeds.

Could have done with a full back aswell considering the man they called sicknote at preston is missing saturday yet again. I thought hopkin said he only came off in the Shrewsbury game as he was knackered. All of a sudden thats 3/4 games missed. He is going to be making jake reeves look fit soon

 

DH isn't the man to come up with a plan. He changes things too much.

Worst thing about him it's not the players he changes it's his tactics and what he wants. You also have to question can he motivate the players and can he really improve them?

You can't be a successful manager like that. In 2019 football you've to have a footballing identity!

 

His injury record over the last couple of seasons makes grim reading, i guess beggars can’t be choosers. Shame because he looked alright on his debut but this is the risk when signing these sort of players.
