    Wood will be the fall guy, as Hopkin will want as much muscle as possible in midfield to make up for what we lack up front

    It's great we're now feeling for players who might be left out, as opposed to complaining about those that are in

    Just checked the line-ups from the plymouth away games onwards and Doyle and Miller were paired together for most of those games until the barnsley game.
    Now Miller might not have been full fit recently but City's recent upturn in results were with 2 up top.
    Conceding is not just about our defence- but keeping the ball in the other half and chasing down.
    Do not want to see more wasted games like @barnsley or southend.

    It's been a mixed transfer window. Woods and Butterfield if fit and firing will improve the side given their pedigree and the players they'll be replacing. Still a few areas where we are short though. A decent striker and a first choice CB would have been nice

    Yup, except we were told we had a list of target men and DH said we wouldn't hang about if one didnt make up his mind, would move onto the next one. Didnt get the impression this list comprised of 'any old lump' :rolleyes:

    What if all of his targets were withdrawn, by the club's? You seem to assume that a target means we'll get that type of player, but in January circumstances beyond our control occur, i.e. perhaps if Callum Wilson doesn't get injured then we get Surridge
