It's an average of a point a game. Relegation form, over 30 games. I'm not saying there aren't reasons for it, but his record is poor.

 

On the stats, yes. But so was Parky's. Surely, we have to study the stats and facts and realise there is an overall improvement, but like seven years ago, it's not going to be magically turned around as there was too much to sort

 

It could be higher than previous years. A lot of similar teams from about 18th downwards. Mostly going on winning runs then drop off again. It will be tight and could be 4/5 teams still in it in the last couple of games.

 

Whatever happens, if we don't sign the quality required and we do go down, it wasn't Hopkin's occasional tactical blips or Stefan Rupp not meeting the the whinging moaners demands that did the damage, it was the catastrophic damage done by Rahic that could not be recovered.

Lets not lose sight of that. Rahic has ruined Bradford City as a force in League One.

Funny how when I walking around the back of the stand to collect my tickets, the fans I talked to werent confident and one even said they’d not been playing well and if they played like they had been, we’d beat them...!

 

Yeah thats the feeling i got from the Rochdale fans, so much so that some wanted rid of Keith Hill. Didn’t sound like confidence to me.

 

Ah, but we were only talking to the fans. Sounds like @Lordbantam was in the changing rooms to know how confident the players were. Yet from the very 1st minute that confidence looked shot..!

 

We weren't the only club that hammered them, pretty sure they took a few pastings.

 

Re: Dale, we played them after they beat 10 man Blackpool with a late winner (Blackpool played a full hour with 10...), and after tearing them apart 4-0, Donny pumped them 5-0 and then both Burton and Man City juniors stuck four past them at Spotland.

They've been a little bit all over the place since Oxford drubbed them 4-2 in November.

They've won 3 in their last 14 games, and one of them was Oldham in the cup.
