Apologies, but it wasn't Julian Rhodes I got mixed up with. Taken from the article titled;

Bradford City: Loan bid for Surridge held up by Bournemouth

"City have also been linked with a loan move for Ipswich striker Jordan Roberts."

 

Did you see the name Jordan Rhodes also? I'm sure it said Rhodes and the T&A have now edited it to Roberts.

 

Who is Jordon Roberts?

 

Ok, just looked him up, midfielder. I think our priority is a striker now.

 

No thanks. Looking at his stats, I'm completely baffled as to how he ever ended up signing for a championship club.

 

That will be his very good agent, who might well be putting this rumour around

 

He's described as a striker above. If he is a midfielder, I'll give him a bit of credit, his stats aren't as bad as I thought.

 

Once again good marketing by his agent. ‘Bradford City need a striker, my lad can do that’ lol

Looks like we are dredging the pool looking for cheap.

 

So far I do not feel we are any stronger in spite of 2 extra bodies coming in. H must feel he can work on them but we surely need established player who can make a mark with us.

 

Paul Lambert on Jordan Roberts -

Earlier in the week, it was reported that Roberts was considering whether to move to Bradford, Plymouth or the MK Dons on loan with deals said to have been agreed with all three clubs, but Lambert says potential switches have broken down for the winger or striker who signed for the Blues from Crawley Town in the summer.

“I think there were teams wanting him and then things broke down and were back on and then broke down again, so I don’t know quite where we’re at with it,” he said.

“I think probably Jordan’s agent is talking to clubs to see what’s going on but for some reason it seems to keep breaking down.”

Surridge deal agreed on loan, but depends on Ball moving in permanently. Deadline of Monday, or Surridge goes elsewhere.

 

They are very good at calling it

 

Is there an update on the David Ball situation with regards him coming in permanently, if Rotherham arent interested in him returning surely they would want him out as much as we want him.
Hopefully a decision early next week.

 

He wants to come. Think it's just a negotiating thing on contract details.

 

Heard this morning Orient and Wimbledon interested in signing Josh Wright on loan . Salford and bury have enquired about Joe Riley don't if perm or loan deal.

 

Both please, sell them both.... now....

 

Be good if the former was a permanent move, the latter a loan. A few months in Conference might show riley the need to be more physical, I think it would help him.
